Repair Torn or Broken Ribbon

1. Open the top cover and remove the ribbon 

2. Make sure the printers card path is clear from cards and torn ribbon

3. You can use the front buttons to move the card out of the printer

4. Place the ribbon cartridge or spool on a flat, clean surface and find the two broken ends on the ribbon

5. Cut any excess ribbon so the ends are straight as possible

6. Pull enough ribbon so the ends overlaps and tape them together using scotch tape

7. Turn the Take-up side until the ribbon is overlapping the taped area

8. Place the ribbon and cards back in the printer and wait for the Ready status
