Resolve Ribbon Error

This type of ribbon requires a firmware version above 1955 and driver version 6.36.0.0

Firmware Update

1. Download the latest printer driver/firmware from the Evolis website

2. Open Evolis Print Center

3. Double-click the Evolis Primacy printer

4. Click Maintenance from the left menu

5. Click Firmware update

6. Click Launch the update wizard

7. Click Browse to navigate to the firmware file you downloaded from Evolis > Select the .firm file

8. Click Next

9. Click Finish when the updates complete

Select Your Ribbon Type

1. Open the Evolis Print Center and double-click on the Evolis Primacy printer

2. Click the arrow next to Printing in the left menu

3. Click Ribbon

4. Check the box next to "Select the ribbon type" on the right side of the screen

5. Select your ribbon type from the drop-down menu

6. Click Apply and OK
