ID Print: I am unable to take an ID Picture

If you have trouble taking a picture, there can be various setting issues denying access to the camera. Check out the troubleshooting guides below.


Review Browser Camera Settings


1. Click ENTER in the ID Print module


2. Click on the drop-down menu > Find the List Name (e.g., school, staff, district, office) you want to view > Select List 


3. Find the record you want to take a picture for > Click Edit


4. Click Take Photo


A pop-up window will ask if you want to allow camera access to Card Integrators.


2. Click Allow 


3. If there is an option to always allow Card Integrators > click Always Allow


4. Click Done


If the browser camera settings are properly linked and you are still unable to take an ID Picture, please proceed with the guides below.


Restart Browser


1. Completely close your browser


Completely closing your browser entails closing all browser tabs and windows.

You can open your computer's task manager and force close the entire app.


2. Open your browser and navigate back to ID Print in Badge to take a picture


If you restarted your browser and you are still unable to take an ID Picture, please proceed with the guides below.


Update Browser


1. On the top right corner under the close button, click on the three dots > Click Settings


2. On the left-hand side navigation bar, click About [Browser]


If you are using Chrome, it should say About Chrome

If you are using Edge, it should say About Microsoft Edge

3. Check for any browser updates


If your browser needs an update, click update.

If your browser is up to date and you are still unable to take an ID Picture, please proceed with the guide below.


Clear Browser Cache


Clearing the browser cache will remove all passwords and saved information in your browser.

Ensure you remember your passwords and any information before clearing the cache.


Ensure there is only one tab/window open in Badge.

1. Right-Click in Badge to open a drop-down menu > Click Inspect


A console will pop up on the right side of the screen. Leave pop up open.

2. On the top left of the browser, right-click the refresh icon > ClicEmpty Cache and Hard Refresh
