Clients with managed service accounts are required to return the printer's printhead to our warehouse. Clients will be provided with a prepaid shipping label to return. 

Remove Printhead

1. Unplug the power from the printer

2. Open the top cover of the printer

3. Push down on the clip below the printhead to release the printhead 

This can be done by pressing against the back metal spring loaded plate with one hand twisting the print head out with the other. 

The print head should release easily and require little or no force.

4. Gently pull the connector out of the printer's socket

The wires to remove is the one going into the print head. 

Pinch the wire with your fingers and pull.

Package Printhead

1. Place the printhead in the bottom corner of the padded package

2. Apply the package's adhesive

3. Fold both ends of the package towards each other

4. Fold one end of the package over the other end

5. Fold the package in half

6. Securely tape the package

7. Place the secure package into a box > Apply the shipping label on the box

Dispose the printer once the printhead has been securely packaged and shipped to our warehouse
