I am getting an error "Issue communicating with printer" 

This error message means your printer's status is not in Ready


1. Confirm Printer is Evolis Primacy with no copy #


2. Confirm card is RF Card


3. Confirm card gauge is set to 35 mil 


Cards may be getting stuck and not loading.



RF Enrollment Issues


I am getting an error of "UID Missing"


This error means that the cards have not been printed and the UID is populated at the time of the print. 


1. Print a card for each of these records


2. Unplug the power cord


Leave the power cord unplugged for ten seconds.


3. Plug power cord and wait until you hear a beep


Once you hear the beep sound from the printer, the printer is ready to print.



My UID is reading "Reading Card Value"


The UID reading is caused by an error at the time of the print such as there were no cards in the printer, incorrect cards in the printer, or someone could have clicked elsewhere when the card was printing. 


Customers should NOT touch the must until the cards are done printing.


1. The card must be reprinted or manually enter the card value from the already printed card


The UID has garbage data


The cause of garbage data in UID is due to the user clicking into the text field while on the record. 


1. The card will have to be reprinted or card value will be manually entered from the already printed card



RF Value switches from Hex to Dec during printing


1. Under settings > Layouts, double-click on the layout then select Configure Enrollment


2. Under Select & Format RFID Data, locate the Output Notation section and select Hex


The default value is Dec.
