Configure CI Badge
CI Badge should be installed in computer
1. Place the layout file CIBCards83.mdb into the data folder
The data folder is C:\CI Solutions\CI Badge\Data
2. Open CIBCards in MS Access and confirm the following:
Assign to printer: Evolis Primacy
All Margins are set to 0
Layout Orientation is correct (e.g., Horizontal, Vertical)
Front Side Graphical Setting is Only Black Text
Confirm Ribbon & Dual printing settings are correct
3. Close CIBCards
4. Launch and license CI Badge
If you received an error message on the licensing screen, follow the direction to relaunch CI Badge by right-clicking Run as Admin.
5. Use the License Key Generator to input the machine number and generate a license key.
You can copy and paste the license key into the CI Badge Licensing window.
6. Click License CI Badge
A Successful Authorization window will pop up.
7. Login with the default credentials
Username: Admin
Password: admin
8. Update the Main Data Entry fields and add in any custom fields
Zonar Required Fields
1. Card No - UID #
2. Card Status - Drop Down field with default value Active
3. Last Name
4. First Name
5. Unique ID - Student ID #
6. Group Name - Must receive list of customer's Group Names in their Zpass system
9. Navigate to Settings > Layouts > Assign the Personality and Printer
10. Check Enroll Credential(s) > Click Configure Enrollment
11. Configure the RF Enrollment
Enrollment Type: Keystroke Emulation (KE)
Enrollment Destination(s): CI Badge Data Entry Field #1
This will be the name of the custom field which the RF Value will be populated in
