CI Badge: Configure CI Badge RF Export for Zonar (ZFORMAT) Users

Below is a list of column headers Zonar's CSV import requires in order to import new Zonar Records. 

Be sure to configure CI Badge to include all Zonar Required data fields listed below.


Zonar Required Column Headers


Card NoRF Value of Card
Card StatusMust be Active
Last NameStudent's Last Name
First NameStudent's First Name
Unique IDStudent's ID Number
Group NameDefault Value is Home


1. Add custom fields if you CI Badge system does not have custom fields for the required columns.


Note which CI Badge Database field they are referencing and set the appropriate default values.

Card Status must be set to Active. 

Group Name will change per customer and a list should be requested.


2. Save the custom fields


3. Exit CI Badge

Now you can move forward with setting up and running the export in Data Manager.

1. Under Step 7 in the guide, default the Save to location to a CI Badge RF Export folder on customer’s desktop


2. Change the column headers to match what is listed under Zonar Column Headers once the export is created
