There can be multiple reasons why ID cards are jamming in the printer. Card jams can come from different reasons such as the being stuck on a roller or stuck in the bottom of the printer. Identify where the card is jammed in the printer by looking over the images below.
Clear Card Jams

2. Locate the card inside the printer
Refer to the different types of card jams in a printer below.

Card is Stuck at the Bottom of the Printer
1. Rotate the cleaning roller to allow more space to grab the card at the bottom of the printer
You can also open the right-side panel to get a better access to the bottom of the printer.
2. Remove the card jammed in the printer and unplug the power cord
3. Plug the power cord back to printer to restart the printer
4. Adjust your card gauge between 30-35 mil
Once the printer status shows Ready, the printer is ready to print.
Ribbon Studs and Gear are not Secure
If you are receiving the no ribbon error, you can check the black o-ring in the printer. Sometimes, when you print all the way towards the end of the ribbon, the black o-ring will jump out of the spool. Another reason would be the stud that holds the gear popped off the o-ring.
1. Open the left side of the printer
Ensure the stud that holds the gear and black o-ring is in place.
2. If stud and black o-ring is not in place, set and secure them back in the printer
