Internal Printer Features


A. Thermal printhead - Heat element to print the graphics

B. Ribbon cartridge - Holds printer ribbon cartridge


A maximum of 100 cards can be loaded when the cover is closed.


C. Input hopper - Loads the cards for printing

D. Card thickness control lever - Adjusts to thickness of cards

E. Output hopper - Collects the printed or encoded cards

F.  Power Button & Indicator Lights


The thermal printhead is hot after printing. Do not touch its surface with fingers or objects. Doing so could reduce print quality or permanently damage the thermal printhead.

Display Statuses and Buttons


The printer has four indicator lights: Power Button, Supplies, Cleaning, and Mechanical Error


 

A. Power Button: Flashing when printer is processing

B. Supplies Indicator Lights: Low on cards or ribbon

C. Cleaning Indicator Light: Cleaning is required when the light is on

D. Mechanical Error Light: Mechanical issue or Printer malfunction
