Locate and Secure the RFID board 

Follow these steps only if you feel comfortable working with hardware.

Locate the RFID Board

1. Open the top cover and remove the ribbon

2. Inside the printer, locate a grey tab on the inner right wall of the printer 

3. Pull up on this tab, you should start to see the outer right wall of the printer begin to pry open

If the door does not open, pull the door open manually from the top while keeping your hand on the tab to open it.

4. Once the door is fully open, turn the printer so you are looking at the inner right side components 

5. Look for a green board positioned at the lower right side of the printer

Secure the RFID Board

1. Using the photo below as reference, ensure all wires are fully connected to the board 

2. Press in the bottom of the board to secure it (in red). Ensure the board is fully connected. This piece is usually the loose part.

The RFID board being partially inserted or loose is a common issue.
