Stability & Reliability
Improved PNG Image Upload Handling
Fixed an issue where single .png image uploads were being converted to .jpg. PNG images will now remain in their original format, helping preserve image details such as transparent backgrounds.
Improved Bulk Image Import Comparison
Improved how Badge evaluates student photos during import. Badge will now compare the actual image content instead of relying on file timestamps, helping determine more accurately whether a student photo has changed. After this release, the next manual or automated photo import may show a higher-than-usual number of images successfully imported while Badge establishes a one-time baseline for future comparisons. This is expected and does not necessarily mean those photos were newly added or changed. No action is required.
