I have an issue with a record not showing up in Traversa

If you are having an issue with a record not showing up in Traversa, the issue can be that the record does not exist in Traversa prior to pushing from Badge. If you created a record directly in Badge, you must create a record in Traversa. 


  • While you can create a new record in Traversa and import the record in Badge, you are not able to create a new record in Badge and import the record in Traversa.


Check the Records in Badge and Traversa


1. Click ENTER in the Secure Share module


2. Find the List Name (e.g., school, staff, district, office) you want to view > Click VIEW


3. Search for the record in the list that did not get pushed to Traversa


4. Navigate in Traversa and search for the record


5. If record does not exist in Traversa, create a new record in Traversa


  • If record exists in Badge and Traversa, continue troubleshooting with the procedures below.



Authorize Connection


1. Click ENTER in the Secure Share module


2. Sign in Traversa through the pop-up window


  • Signing into Traversa through the pop-up window will enable the connection between Badge and Traversa.
  • If you are not prompted with the pop-up window, there has already been an established connection between Badge and Traversa. 
  • Clients authorized will automatically log in for 30 days.


3. On the top right of the screen, click the kebab menu > Connections > Edit the Traversa connection > Authorize 



Traversa Configuration


1. Sign-in to Traversa


2. Navigate in Traversa and search for the record 


3. Ensure that are not any custom fields created


4. Ensure that the record status is Active

1. Create the following test record in Badge and Traversa


  • Record Name: Joe Keeps, ID #: 12345


2. Open a live chat with Traversa by clicking here


3. Submit a ticket with CI Solutions by clicking here


  • Submit the ticket with the subject "Traversa API Issue" for priority queue.
