Overview

Badge v1.93.0 will be released on 2/12/2026. Clients will automatically receive this update – no action is required.

New & Improved

Improved User Access Visibility

The Client Users table now includes an Access column, making it easier to confirm what access a user has without additional clicks.

Improved Layout Form Validation

When creating or copying a client layout, the Save/Copy action is now disabled until all required fields are completed. This helps prevent incomplete layouts from being saved accidentally.

Simplified Layout Version Labels

Layout version names have been simplified so V6 and V7 are now shown as 6 and 7, removing legacy references and making layout selection clearer

Stability & Reliability

MFA Error Messages Display Correctly

Fixed an issue where entering an incorrect MFA code would not display an error message immediately.

Notifications Loading State Displays on Initial Load

Fixed an issue where the Notifications page could load without showing a loading state when many notifications were present.

Zonar Connection Testing Improved

Fixed an issue where testing an invalid Zonar connection configuration could incorrectly show an “Authorized” message.

Admin Safety Improvement for Super Admin Accounts

Super Admin users can no longer remove their own Super Admin access while editing their own account, preventing accidental lockouts.

Client User Edit – Campus and Access Values Load Correctly

Fixed an issue where Campus and Access selections could incorrectly default to “All” when editing a client user, even if specific values were previously saved.

Improved Password Reset Support

Badge now supports password lengths up to 64 characters, and the Reset Password page has been updated to reflect this limit.

Improved Printer Ribbon Details

Fixed an issue where printers using a YMCKO ribbon did not display the ribbon type correctly in Printer Connection Details for ID Print 2 and Batch Print

Improved Microsoft Edge Browser Experience

Fixed an issue where Microsoft Edge users could see a “Local Network Access” information dialog even though Edge does not request that permission.
