We use cookies to try and give you a better experience in Freshdesk.
You can learn more about what kind of cookies we use, why, and how from our Privacy policy. If you hate cookies, or are just on a diet, you can disable them altogether too. Just note that the Freshdesk service is pretty big on some cookies (we love the choco-chip ones), and some portions of Freshdesk may not work properly if you disable cookies.
We’ll also assume you agree to the way we use cookies and are ok with it as described in our Privacy policy, unless you choose to disable them altogether through your browser.
Overview
Badge v1.91.0 will be released on 1/15/2026. Clients will automatically receive this update – no action is required.
New Features
Microsoft SSO Button on the Login Page
Users whose organizations are configured for Microsoft SSO can now sign in to Badge by clicking “Sign in with Microsoft” on the login page, providing a faster and more seamless login experience.
Note: Availability depends on organization-level setup. Users should wait for confirmation from their Microsoft Global Administrator that Microsoft SSO has been enabled for their Badge account.
Microsoft SSO Setup Confirmation Dialog
Added a confirmation dialog in Authentication Settings that appears when an organization’s authentication method is changed to Single Sign-On (SSO). The dialog provides Microsoft-specific guidance and clearly indicates that additional configuration steps must be completed in Microsoft by a Global Administrator to finish enabling SSO for Badge.
Unsaved Changes Dialog When Adding or Editing Records
If a user makes a change to a record and attempts to close the dialog, an “Unsaved Changes” dialog will appear asking the user if they would like to Stay or Leave the form. This prevents accidental closures and loss of in progress work when users are updating record information
Enhancements
Login Input Fields Colors Match
Made the background color of the Email and Password fields the same
Improved User Editing Experience
The Edit User experience has been updated to better organize user information. Details and access settings are now separated into two tabs — Details and Access — making it easier to find and manage user access settings and preparing the experience for future enhancements.
Improved User Viewing Experience
Added a “email” column to the Users table, making it easier for users to see what a user’s email is without having to edit the user.
Bug Fixes
Access – Users Grid Shakes
Resolved an issue where applying filters to the User’s table could potentially cause the page to shake horizontally
