[3.3] SFTP Overview and Setup

SFTP

SFTP stands for Secure File Transfer Protocol which is a network protocol to securely transfer files between two remote servers. SFTP requires proper authentication from client and server side. Every file transfer is encrypted to ensure passwords and sensitive data are not exposed to any malicious networks.

Once SFTP has been set up, any changes from the Student Information System will update Badge databases every night.
