Overview

Badge v1.83.0 is the latest version publicly released on 09/25/2025. The release notes will cover new features, feature enhancements, resolved known issues, and known issues that clients commonly face in Badge. 

 

Clients will always have the latest version of Badge through automated updates.

New Features

• Connections - Traversa Onboard
  You can now use a custom API key when creating a Traversa Onboard connection.  

Enhancements

• Password Reset 
  Clearer messaging now lets users know when requests are being throttled (e.g., too many attempts). 

• ID Print 2 / Batch Print

  • Removed the “Print Batch Job without RFID” option on lists that don’t use RFID (prevents confusion). 

  • Added robust error handling and clearer messages for PDF template generation issues. 

  • Prevented accidental double-submissions by disabling repeat clicks on the Print button. 

  • Updated the “No printers found” dialog with step-by-step guidance.

• Badge UI Update

  Disabled sorting on the ID and Campus columns.

 

Resolved Issues

  Fixed an issue where the pagination “…” controls could expand incorrectly.
