Badge v1.74.0 is the latest version publicly released on 05/22/2025. The release notes will cover new features resolved known issues that clients commonly face in Badge. 

Clients will always have the latest version of Badge through automated updates.

New Features

Card Format Transformation [BETA]

• Card Format Transformation - Clients have requested the ability to transform the UID value from a card into a format of their choice before sending it to third-party vendors for enrollment. The supported transformation formats include, but are not limited to:

  • Reverse Hex

  • Decimal

  • Reverse Decimal

  • Prepend Characters

  • Zero-Pad Values

Note: This feature only provides a preview of the transformed UID and does not actually save the transformed value. Additionally, the previewed transformation will be displayed in the output records

Resolved Known Issue

ID Print: Blank Layouts

• Clients selecting blank card layouts may see 'Nul' display in the preview. [FIXED]

Secure Share: Export CSV

• When applying filters to a list and exporting to CSV, clients may expect the export to reflect only the filtered results. However, currently, the export includes all records, regardless of the applied filters. To address this, clients will now receive a notification informing them that the filters will not be applied during the CSV export.
